The Dish
Roasted Cornish cod, olive oil mash, piperade, gremolata £28.00 (£££)
Tucked away in the heart of Wiltshire’s countryside, The Red Lion is not just a pub, it’s a culinary haven that deserves a special mention on any foodie’s list.
One dish stood out to me on the menu and I wasn’t disappointed. The roasted cornish cod with olive oil mash, piperade and gremolata was a testament to the chef and it’s evident that The Red Lion takes pride in its quality local ingredients.
Overall, every aspect of the dish was cooked perfectly so the Red Lion is very deserving of a special mention on our website. The Red Lion is a very cosy country pub restaurant, serving exceptional food. Absolutely worth a visit if you’re ever nearby.
