What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We do not need much personal information to operate the services we provide and therefore we try to limit what we collect about you.

We only collect information about you when you contact us, or provide us with information in any way. This includes but is not limited to email, chat, post, phone and verbal conversations. This information is collected for the purposes of responding to your queries. You consent to the processing of your information in this way by entering into conversations with us.

We also collect anonymous analytics information, as detailed below. Our hosting provider, BC Host, may also collect anonymous analytics information. This is stored and processed by BC Host according to their own policies, for the purposes of delivering the content of this website and for tracking spam and abuse.


We use Google Analytics, Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights to collect information about how our site is used. Analytics information such as page views, events, clicks etc. will be collected, stored and processed by Google as per their own Terms of Service & Privacy Policies. Personally identifiable information is not collected through these services.


If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. We do not share your data with any other organisation – establishments we review do not receive any information about you from us.

We may share any personal information we have access to with law enforcement, if required by law or court order.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We store any information provided to us through communication channels (such as email) as long as required to resolve your query. Your information will be stored by BC Host.

Transfers of Data

BC Host stores information about you in the United Kingdom, and this is not shared outside of the UK.

Google may securely transfer your data outside of the UK, subject to their own privacy policies.
