The Dish
“Sammy’s Ale Battered Brixham Fish, hand cut chips, tartare sauce, minted crushed peas”, £18.95 (££)
The fish was very fresh and well cooked. Served with excellent fat chips and crushed peas, although these could be a little less watery. The View is spectacular – try and book Captain’s table if you can for the best views.

We liked
- Fresh fish, cooked perfectly
- The chips are great, both hand cut and the fries.
- Amazing views – would highly recommend Captain’s table.
We’d change
- The crushed peas were a little too watery.
We also had
Double Chocolate Brownie (Dessert) – Very rich but nice £8.95.
