The Dish
Daggers Ale Battered Haddock, Tartare Sauce, Mushy Peas, Triple Cooked Chips £16.00 (££)
Tucked away in the heart of the countryside, The Three Daggers is a cosy establishment offering a menu filled to the brim with pub classics cooked exquisitely, such as the Daggers Fish and Chips.
The fish itself was very fresh, moist and flaky. The rich ale batter, made with their own Ale, brewed on-site, gives the dish the depth the British classic deserves. As always, the dish is served with mushy peas, fantastically crispy thick-cut chips and tartare sauce.
The Three Daggers takes pride in its quality local ingredients and is absolutely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
