The Dish
Fish & Chips, Mushy Peas, Tartare Sauce £23.00 (£££)
Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen (The City) is a cosy and vibrant restaurant in the heart of the city. The Fish & Chips were cooked nicely with fresh mushy peas and thick-cut chips. We prefer Heddon Street Kitchen but you can’t go wrong with this great restaurant!
The fish was impeccably cooked, with soft flaky fish beneath a crispy batter. Accompanied by a serving of fresh and zesty mushy peas, the dish was well-balanced. Although, a larger portion of mushy peas would have been preferable. The thick-cut chips complete the comforting British Classic.
The service at Bread Street Kitchen is commendable, with staff that are not only helpful and friendly but efficient. The fast service ensures a satisfying meal even during a quick lunch break in the City.
Overall, whether you’re a local or a visitor, Bread Street Kitchen is definitely worth a visit if you fancy a nice lunch.

4 STAR | ££ | Hotel Restaurant The fish was very fresh and well cooked. Served with excellent fat chips and crushed peas, although these could be a little less watery. The view is spectacular – try and book Captain’s table if you can for the best views.
