Allington Cafe Review
Whilst it’s not Fish & Chips, Allington Cafe is one of our favourites for Breakfast, Lunch or even a quick coffee and cake. The food is always absolutely delicious and served promptly in very generous portions.
Favourites include “Chicken, Chips & Beans” (as pictured above) and the Allington Cafe Breakfast. The chips are always fantastically crispy and there’s a real depth to the baked beans that make them incredibly moreish. The breakfast is also really hearty too. The Cafe is incredibly popular for locals, and they do not operate a booking system, so be prepared for a short wait. The kitchen operates strict timings for service (which can be found on their website) so make sure to arrive on time to avoid disappointment.
The Cafe always has a wonderful choice of cakes, baked freshly in-house. Without exception, you can prepare to leave the Cafe feeling both happy and full.
Located on the A420, the Cafe is very convenient to get to. In the Farm Shop next door, you’re spoilt for choice from quality local produce, a lot of which is grown on the farm, or in the surrounding area. In summary, the Allington Farm Shop & Cafe are worth a visit if you’re in need of some high-quality well-cooked local food.
