Our full review: The Ivy Cardiff
In the heart of Cardiff, The Ivy is a great establishment for any occasion, from pre-rugby lunches to special celebrations. The star of the show, the North Sea Cod Fish & Chips, is an exceptional take on the British Classic.
The batter achieves a satisfying crunch without overshadowing the delicate flavour of the soft cod underneath. Accompanying the fish are sides that elevate the dish to a new level. The mushy peas are fresh and creamy and compliment the flaky cod. The thick-cut chips were golden and crispy with a fluffy interior.
The Truffle & Parmesan chips and Truffle arancini also make delicious starters. A trip to The Ivy is not the same without a Chocolate Bombe for pudding!
Make sure to book in advance as they don’t always accommodate walk-ins.
Chips: Fat Chips
