The Dish

“Beer battered fish & chips with tartare sauce & minted peas”, £15.00 (££)

Generous portions with incredibly flaky fish coated in a light batter. The mushy peas were fresh & minty, and came in a very large portion. The chips were thin and salty. Very delicious meal.

OUR VERDICT – 4.5 Stars

We liked

  • Fresh fish, cooked perfectly
  • Thin and crispy batter
  • A nice portion of minty peas

We’d change

  • Too much skin is left on the fish during cooking

We also had

Chocolate Brownie (Dessert) – Very rich and a little too dry, although the ice cream and sauce were great. £6.95

Chips: Thin Chips

Peas: Mushy

Service Speed: Moderate
