The Dish
“Fish and Chips, battered cod served with chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce”, £19.95 (££)
Great Fish & Chips with superbly cooked fat chips, both light and extremely crispy. The restaurant is nice and takeaway Fish & Chips from Rick Stein Marlborough are just as good in quality.
5 STARS | ££ | 2022 Bronze Fish Award | Our favourite place to eat out in Wiltshire. Very deserving of our Bronze Fish Award for the exceptional fish and chips. Highly commended.
4.5 STARS | ££ | Pub restaurant Generous portions with incredibly flaky fish coated in a light batter. The mushy peas were fresh & minty, and came in a very large portion. The chips were thin and salty. Very delicious meal.
4 STAR | ££ | Smart Casual Fresh fish in a thick, slightly greasy batter. Served with extra crispy chips which gain flavour from absorbing the oil from the fish. Great view of Tower Bridge and the London Skyline.

4 STAR | ££ | Hotel Restaurant The fish was very fresh and well cooked. Served with excellent fat chips and crushed peas, although these could be a little less watery. The view is spectacular – try and book Captain’s table if you can for the best views.
3 STAR | ££ | Free House and Restaurant Cosy little restaurant in the countryside. The fish was small but fresh and coated in a beer batter, which was a little dry. Served with nice chips and minted peas.
